Just as its tongue-twisting title suggests, the popular project involves the distribution of small American flags to youngsters (and the young at heart) at parades, fairs, picnics, school events, or other community happenings that attract crowds. The flags are free to the children (and all attending the event) and can make a great souvenir of the occasion.
We have handed out flags at the 9/11 Memorial Healing Field in Tempe, the Independence Day Parade in Flagstaff, and the Ahwatukee 4th of July Children’s Bike Parade.
